Biosolid Analysis:
Analyze before you fertilize! Cascade Analytical offers complete CFR 503 analysis for biosolids. Agricultural Nutrient loading can be determined by analyzing biosolids with one of our basic packages. Our packages include CFR 503 metals or the complete scan. Both packages offer regulatory and application data to assist in preparation of biosolid products.

Irrigation Water Analysis:
Analysis of the water used to irrigate crops helps to determine what nutrients are being added by the water. This can potentially cut down on the amount of fertilizer needed, or determine if mineral deposits or algae will be a problem. The analytical report gives an overall quality ranking to the water and its suitability for irrigation.

Landfill Monitoring:
Cascade Analytical has extensive experience with regional landfills. Following WAC 173-351 and CFR 40 part 258 regulations, we offer several different packages:

Appendix I: focus is mainly on General Water Quality parameters including priority pollutants and nitrates
Appendix II: focus is Field and Geo-chemical parameters including pH, conductivity and temperature, as well as minerals and dissolved solids
Appendix III: is the violation assessment including volatiles, pesticides and herbicides
Appendix IV: Leachate Analysis - metals, minerals and coliform analysis

Fertilizer Analysis:
Fertilizer supply companies are required to analyze raw materials and blends of fertilizers sold in Washington state for heavy metal contamination. (WAC 16-200) To satisfy these regulations Cascade Analytical offers a heavy metals package and a nutrient package to assure accurate fertilizer labels and application rates.

Pesticide Analysis:
Cascade Analytical has been serving the agricultural community for over 20 years. We are well acquainted with many of the currently used materials, as well as the historic pesticides for minor crops. Residue on fruit can be analyzed for several specific pesticides or a full FDA Scan of 22 commonly used pesticides. Post Harvest Chemicals such as Diphenylamine (DPA) or Thiabendazole (TBZ) can be analyzed in water for discharge limits or for low-levels on fruit. We can perform a "prescreen" analysis on fruit for pesticide residues at low levels which satisfy organic product standards.

Hazardous Waste Characterization:
Cascade Analytical can help identify waste that may be potentially hazardous. We offer several tests that can help pinpoint the contamination on a clean up site or waste pit. These tests satisfy most landfill disposal regulations.
