Management:
Cascade Analytical is guided and directed by Owner and President Laura Laurent Mrachek, a Horticulture graduate of Washington State University. Mrs. Mrachek brings the company personal experience. Along with her husband Michael, they manage over 500 acres of orchard and vineyard, as well as a business devoted to irrigation scheduling and consulting. In addition, Mrs. Mrachek serves as an industry leader on the Washington State Horticultural Association board and as a local leader on the county planning commission.

History:
The growing success of Cascade Analytical emerged from the humble garage of Laura and Mike Mrachek in 1978. The company cites its success on its ability and adapt-ability to meet its clients' needs. Originally, the focus was on agricultural soil fertility but expanded into environmental (pesticide and water) analysis in 1988 with the advent of the apple industry ALAR scare. Cascade Analytical was the first laboratory in Eastern Washington to be accredited by the Department of Ecology for the analysis of waste and wastewater, and certified by the Department of Health for the analysis of drinking water. Additionally, the lab is certified by the Women's Business Enterprise.

Today, the company employs 15 full-time personnel, each bringing a unique expertise and strength in their analytical discipline. Outstanding service is our primary mission.
